This collection captures the quiet poetry of winter botanicals: dark lotus pods, pale seedheads, soft moss textures, and deep burgundy velvet. The mood is sculptural and serene, like frost settling over a dried meadow. Natural forms take centre stage here, with each bauble celebrating negative space, muted tones, and the delicate stillness unique to winter’s landscape. Each bauble is finished with a discreet crocodile clip on the reverse, allowing it to be easily and securely attached to Christmas tree branches.

I created this set as a study in contrast—soft against hard, dense against open. Each bauble is composed individually, with stems arranged by hand to maintain their natural direction. I avoid symmetry, allowing the pieces to feel organic and sculptural. Each bauble takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
